Soulrift Character Tier List
Community-informed ranks from public kits, not an official helix_works ladder.
This Tier List Hub ranks Soulrift’s eleven fighters using only published identities: health, role, unlock path, and kit verbs (heal, revive, burn, Blood meter, grappling hook, ice AoE, long-cooldown nukes). There is no official damage meter in the sources we trust, so these bands are community-informed, not gospel. If your lobby has no healer, the “S-tier DPS” you saw on a thumbnail is a wipe. Use team comps and boss difficulty with this page. Roster facts: Players.
How to read the bands
S — changes the lobby. Clockwork (Awakening quest, 90 HP) hands out acceleration, immunity, and movement. Reviva (250 Souls, 80 HP) heals and revives. Sunder (1000 Souls, 125 HP) is the published close-range damage spike. These three cover “we live,” “we live again,” and “the boss actually dies.”
A — excellent when the fight matches the kit. Scar (Burning Soul, 105 HP) applies burn and AoE. Crystal (A Tundra Menace, 100 HP) covers ice AoE plus short and long options. Raiden (4000 Souls, 110 HP) mixes melee, ranged, and a hook — strong and expensive. Nyx (Greater Heights, 80 HP) dumps a Blood meter for a huge hit if they survive the fill.
B — reliable learners and specialists. Zephyr (starter, 110 HP) teaches melee spacing with ranged slashes. Cross (starter, 100 HP) teaches kiting with lasers and grenades. Ricochet (1500 Souls, 90 HP) is low damage, high fire rate, very flexible. Lumina (2500 Souls, 90 HP) is high damage, long range, long cooldowns — feast or famine.
These letters will move when helix_works patches numbers. They will not move because a script GUI said “inf damage.” Scripts are a different conversation.
Unlock cost is part of the tier
A character you do not own is D-tier for you. Reviva at 250 is more real than Raiden at 4000. Unlock characters and the unlock planner exist so this list does not trick you into a six-hour save for a hybrid you will play twice. Quest characters are “free” in Souls and expensive in fight skill. Clockwork is still S because the buffs pay the skill tax back to the group.
Starters are not bait
Zephyr and Cross are B because they are complete kits, not because they are weak. Many players should stay on a starter through Veteran Status quests (Souls and XP) while accessories fill (accessories). Swapping to Lumina with empty slots and no Dash discipline is a downgrade. Getting started still applies after you “finish” the tutorial.
PvE only
Soulrift is a boss fighter, not a battlegrounds 1v1 ladder. Tiers assume up to eight players, loading-screen difficulty, and unique boss patterns (beat bosses). Shuffle Mode (shuffle) can shuffle which kit feels S for a night. Do not rebuild your entire shop plan after one Shuffle round.
